Cookie policy
Last updated: June 2026 · ZPAS GROUP GmbH
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit it. They make it possible to recognise your device on your next visit or to handle a session correctly.
2. Which cookies do we use?
We use strictly necessary cookies and – only with your consent – statistics and marketing cookies. The overview below is generated automatically by our consent service Cookiebot and is always kept up to date. It lists all cookies used on this website with their provider, purpose and storage period – grouped by category (necessary, statistics, marketing).
3. What we explicitly do not use
Apart from the strictly necessary cookies, statistical analysis (Google Analytics) and conversion tracking (Google Ads) – both only with consent – the following technologies are not used:
- Facebook Pixel or other social media tracking technologies
- Remarketing or retargeting audiences (the Google Ads cookie is used solely to measure conversions, not to build advertising audiences)
- Cross-site tracking by third parties
- Profiling or automated decision-making
- External fonts: the fonts used (Source Sans Pro, Open Sans) are served locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external server, and no IP address is transmitted to third parties.
- Social media widgets: the share buttons (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, email) are static links and set no cookies. The respective network is only contacted when you actively click. Details in the privacy policy (section 11).
4. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies (PHPSESSID, CookieConsent) are stored on the basis of Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (Telekommunikation-Digitale-Dienste-Datenschutz-Gesetz, the German Telecommunications and Digital Services Data Protection Act), as they are absolutely necessary for the proper provision of the services you have requested. No consent is required for this.
Statistics cookies (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies (Google Ads conversion tracking) are set exclusively on the basis of your consent pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (DSGVO). Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
Austria: Section 165 TKG 2021 (Austrian Telecommunications Act) applies accordingly; cookies requiring consent are only set after you have agreed.
Switzerland: in accordance with the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in German revDSG), we inform you about the services used by means of this page and the privacy policy.
5. Cookie banner and managing your consent
When you first visit this website, a consent banner from the Cookiebot service (Cybot A/S, Denmark) appears. There you decide whether you allow statistics and marketing cookies in addition to the strictly necessary cookies. Without your consent, no statistics, analytics or marketing cookies are set.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — via the “Cookie settings” link in the page footer or by deleting the cookies in your browser.
6. Deleting cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies directly in your browser at any time. Instructions for common browsers:
Please note that blocking cookies may prevent the contact form from being submitted.
