Smart lockers are modular cabinet systems with electronically locked compartments for parcel handover, goods issue and equipment management — controlled by software, terminal or app. ZPAS manufactures parcel lockers and smart lockers with electronic locking systems, optionally with payment terminal and Wi-Fi, including its own management software — weatherproof, also for outdoor use.

Anyone procuring a parcel locker, a locker system or a depot terminal is not buying a standard off-the-shelf product — but an enclosure made to measure. ZPAS manufactures high-quality steel enclosures for automated parcel lockers, locker systems and depot terminals: configurable in dimensions, compartment layout, lock type, electronics and colour — direct from the factory for parcel services, retail, the housing sector and industry.

The decisive feature of all ZPAS smart lockers is complete configurability: number of compartments, compartment size, colour, branding, electronics integration – everything to the customer's specification. Whether free-standing outdoors, wall-mounted in entrance areas or as a modular locker system with several units – ZPAS supplies the right enclosure system ready for operation. Locker systems for schools, offices, gyms and public institutions are also manufactured on the same enclosure platform.

Applications: parcel logistics, housing sector, intralogistics

Parcel services and last-mile logistics: operators of parcel locker networks need enclosures that stand outdoors 24/7, withstand vandalism and can be integrated with any locking, display and scanner system. ZPAS supplies the steel enclosure ready for operation — with touchscreen, barcode reader, camera and IoT module installed at the factory to the customer's specification. Scaling from the pilot installation to the nationwide rollout, starting with small series.

Housing sector and apartment buildings: property managers install parcel boxes in the entrance area or at the property boundary — as a fixed installation or as a retrofit. The ZPAS modular system grows with demand: an installation starts with a few compartments and is extended by adding further modules, without any building work. Dimensions 400–2400 mm wide, 800–2200 mm high.

Retail, click & collect and public locations: retailers use pick-up stations between the online shop and the bricks-and-mortar store. The enclosure must match the CI: powder coating in any RAL colour, side panels with advertising space or foil wrapping, display cut-outs, embossed logo — ZPAS implements CI guidelines directly in the production drawings, without an external design office.

Industry, tool management and intralogistics: in production facilities, lockable compartment systems replace open shelving for tools, protective equipment and consumables. RFID, PIN and app-controlled access systems are integrated at the factory; the enclosure is delivered ready for operation. Also for universities, hospitals and public authorities — secure storage for keys, documents and devices.

Design, dimensions and materials

Enclosures made of galvanised sheet steel, powder-coated in any RAL colour. Degree of protection IP 44 for indoor areas, IP 54 as standard for outdoor installation, IP 65 on request. For outdoor installations: double-walled construction, UV-stable surfaces, PTC frost protection heating down to −30 °C. Freely configurable dimensions: width 400–2400 mm, height 800–2200 mm, modular and bayable.

The compartment concept allows compartments of different sizes (S/M/L/XL) to be freely combined in one installation. Doors as hinged doors or drawers. Locking systems: mechanical, PIN pad, RFID/NFC (Mifare), Bluetooth app or IoT remote opening. Electronics integration at the factory: touchscreen, industrial keyboard, 2D/3D barcode scanner, Mifare card reader, payment terminal, camera, loudspeaker, Wi-Fi — everything ready to install, no external electrician required.

ZPAS's own management software is available for managing the installation: access control, compartment management, user management and automatic email and SMS notifications — can be integrated on request.

Configuration and branding

ZPAS parcel locker enclosures can be fully branded: colour scheme, side panels with advertising space, lighting, display integration – everything to your CI guidelines. The design department in Przygórze works directly with the customer: CAD design, sampling, series production. The result is a product that exactly matches the client's corporate image.

Scaling: from a single installation to large series

ZPAS manufactures smart lockers from small series upwards — from the pilot project to the nationwide rollout. Prototypes for sampling are possible if series production is planned afterwards. The production plants in Poland offer sufficient capacity even for time-critical large projects. Delivery is direct from the factory.

CE marking, EMC and technical documentation

All enclosure systems are supplied with CE marking and complete technical documentation. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and mechanical strength are verified in line with the requirements. For special markets (e.g. maritime environments), please contact us directly.
