Behind ZPAS GROUP GmbH stands ZPAS S.A. — a European enclosure manufacturer based in Poland, founded in 1973 and exporting to more than 40 countries. ZPAS manufactures enclosures, cabinets and panel building solutions in sheet steel, aluminium and stainless steel — for data centres, AI infrastructure, telecommunications, power engineering, mechanical engineering and many other industries.
The material follows the application: sheet steel for electrical enclosures, server racks and industrial enclosures — standards-compliant, robust, all degrees of protection up to IP 65. Aluminium for outdoor enclosures, outdoor cabinets and outdoor electrical enclosures — lightweight, corrosion-resistant, the weatherproof electrical enclosure for outdoor use. Stainless steel for hygiene environments, chemicals and offshore. Everything from our own production — depending on project size, direct from the factory or via selected distribution partners.

Custom enclosures and panel building are not the exception at ZPAS but our core business. We develop individual solutions directly in production: special sizes, customer-specific cut-outs and fittings, complete wiring to your circuit diagram, series production from small batches upwards. The standard material for electrical enclosures, server racks and industrial enclosures. Durable, compliant with IEC 62208 / IEC 61439, all degrees of protection up to IP 65. Powder-coated in RAL 7035 or a special colour. Used in mechanical engineering, power engineering, automation, data centres and telecommunications.
Electrical enclosures SZE2/SZE3 →Aluminium
For outdoor enclosures and outdoor cabinets with particular requirements in terms of weight and corrosion resistance. Aluminium is naturally weather-resistant, lighter than steel and ideal for outdoor applications: 5G base stations, EV charging infrastructure, smart grids, mobile networks and telecommunications. Active thermal management can be integrated.
Outdoor enclosures SZD series →Stainless steel
For hygienically demanding and chemically aggressive environments: food industry, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and offshore. Stainless steel 1.4301 (AISI 304), AISI 316 or 316L on request – corrosion-resistant, hygienic, easy to clean and sterilise. SWN Inox wall-mounted enclosure in IP 65 to EN 60529; special designs to drawing as a standard service.

Who is ZPAS?
ZPAS is a European manufacturer of electrical enclosures, outdoor enclosures, 19″ server racks, data centre solutions and smart lockers. Behind it stands ZPAS S.A., founded in 1973 in Poland, with around 800 employees and five production plants near Wrocław. The subsidiary ZPAS GROUP GmbH in Leipzig handles sales and is the bridge to the factory. In projects, customers deal directly with ZPAS S.A.
Where does ZPAS manufacture?
In five production plants in Poland near Wrocław with more than 51,300 m² of production area; the main plant is in Przygórze. Production takes place exclusively in Europe. Sheet metal working, welding, powder coating, assembly, wiring and functional testing are all carried out in-house.
Do I buy directly from the manufacturer or through a distribution partner?
Both are possible – depending on project size. ZPAS supplies larger projects direct from the factory; smaller enquiries go to selected distribution partners. Technical advice and project support are always provided directly by ZPAS – via short supply chains.
What is the difference between an electrical enclosure and an outdoor enclosure?
A standard electrical enclosure is designed for protected use inside buildings and usually offers IP 54 or IP 55 (ZPAS SZE2/SZE3). An outdoor enclosure from the ZPAS SZD series is built for unprotected outdoor locations: aluminium, IP 54 (IP 55 on request), IK10, thermal management, operation from −40 °C to +70 °C.
