The welded baying enclosure for indoor and outdoor use

The SZE2 is the workhorse of the electrical enclosure range: a welded sheet-steel baying enclosure in 26 standard sizes (600–1200 mm wide, 2000/2200 mm high) — plus special sizes such as 1800 mm height and stainless steel on request. The design is built for easy baying; it can be supplied fitted out, wired and with a UL certificate of conformity, direct from the factory. The bolted alternative with IP 55 as standard is the SZE3. DESIGN · FRAME

A welded frame built as a system

The side frames carry cut-outs for mounting rails or the mounting plate. Roof openings for cables and fan systems are closed with blanking covers, the floor openings with sliding plates — cable entry without any sheet-metal work.

Up to 1,600 kg load capacity

1,000 kg on the mounting plate, 1,600 kg on the mounting rail frame, 150 kg on the swing frame, 20 kg on the door — ample reserve for heavy incoming supplies and transformers.

IP 54 — IP 55 with floor seal

Standard version with side panels: IP 54 to EN 60529. With an additional floor plate seal the protection rises to IP 55 — the economical answer to dusty and damp environments.

Door variants & locks

Front door with double-bit lock as standard, optionally a swing handle with profile half-cylinder; single or double door depending on the width, plus glass and solid sheet-steel doors from the door range.

EMC-tested version

For interference-sensitive applications the SZE2 is available as an EMC special version — its electromagnetic compatibility was tested at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology. The basics are covered in the EMC guide.

Modular system & baying

The modular system adds standardised interior modules to the baying suite; floor plate and roof plate variants cover project-specific cable routes. The enclosure suite grows with the installation.
