Z-BOX & Z-CUBE
19″ wall-mounted enclosures

Network equipment on the wall instead of on the floor: as a one-piece 19″ wall-mounted enclosure, the Z-BOX carries a solid 100 kg; the Z-CUBE grows from 450 to 600 mm depth with a swing-out rear section — without removing it from the wall. 6 to 21 U, glass or sheet steel door, direct from the manufacturer.

Z-BOX and Z-CUBE are ZPAS’s 19″ wall-mounted enclosures for indoor applications: sheet steel enclosures with a glass or sheet steel door, degree of protection IP 20, in 6 to 21 U — the Z-BOX one-piece with 100 kg load capacity, the Z-CUBE one- or two-part with a swing-out rear section.

The 19″ wall-mounted distributor: network equipment on the wall

Whether you call it a wall-mounted distributor, a wall-mounted enclosure or a 19-inch wall cabinet — they all mean the same thing: a compact distributor for switches, patch panels and small UPS units that needs no floor space. As a floor or building distributor, it brings structured cabling to where it is needed: into the corridor riser, the technical room, the production hall. For this, ZPAS builds the Z-BOX (one-piece, up to 100 kg) and the Z-CUBE (one- or two-part, expandable in depth with a rear section).

When a wall-mounted enclosure is the right choice

A switch, a patch panel, perhaps a small UPS — that does not require a floor-standing cabinet. A 19″ wall-mounted enclosure puts the equipment on the wall above head height: space-saving, lockable, with tidy cable routing through the roof or floor plate. Rule of thumb from the network cabinet overview: up to approx. 18–21 U and a light load, a wall cabinet is sufficient; beyond that, a floor-standing cabinet such as the SZB IT takes over — the complete portfolio is shown in the overview.

Z-BOX: one-piece, flexible, 100 kg strong

The Z-BOX is the robust standard wall-mounted enclosure: its enclosure frame made of three frames carries 100 kg — enough for a full 18 U of equipment. Two continuously adjustable 19″ mounting rails adapt to the equipment depth; the roof and floor plates come with cable entries with knock-outs and three ventilation openings each. Doors, side panels and mounting rails can be fitted without tools; once the door is open, the side panels can be removed. And: the self-supporting frame with mounting rails also works on its own — as an open 19″ wall rack. A drilling template for wall mounting is included.

Z-CUBE: grows in depth — without removing it from the wall

The Z-CUBE is all about flexibility: two depths (450/600 mm), six heights from 6 to 21 U, welded body, depth-adjustable 19″ mounting rails (L-brackets). Its trick is the Z-CUBE 150 rear section: it turns the 450 mm deep enclosure into a two-part enclosure with a total depth of 600 mm — and because the front enclosure is connected to the rear section by hinges, it swings open completely. Access to the cabling and the rear of the equipment is possible without taking the enclosure off the wall. The door opening direction and the opening direction of the rear section are reversible; body, doors and side panels have earthing studs. A rear panel is available as an accessory — so IP 20 applies even without a flat wall. Blanking panels, cable management panels and cable management brackets from the 19″ accessories range also fit the wall-mounted enclosures.
