The SZB IT series is the best-selling 19″ rack in the ZPAS range because it covers both applications: as a network cabinet — with a glass door, shallow depth (600/800 mm) and tidy cable management — it houses switches, patch panels and passive equipment in offices and technical rooms. As a server rack — with perforated doors and 1000/1200 mm depth — it carries active IT loads of up to 1,500 kg in the server room. The 42 U versions with perforated doors are best-sellers and available from stock.

Door and panel versions
The SZB IT is available with several door variants — front and rear: glass door (safety glass with partial frame), solid sheet steel door, perforated door for maximum airflow (server operation) or full glass door with quarter-turn lock. Finish: sheet steel powder-coated in RAL 7035 (light grey) or RAL 9005 (black), other colours on request.
Ventilation & accessories
The SZB IT dissipates the heat of active equipment by ventilation: roof fans PWD-2W/PWD-4W (330/660 m³/h) or DL 1500 extract the warm air through the roof, 19″ fan units PW (1 U, with thermostat) support air circulation inside the rack. An active compressor cooling unit is not intended for the SZB IT — it requires a closed rack of at least IP 54 and is reserved for the Z-SERVER. Available as accessories: plinths and castors, equipment shelves (fixed/pull-out), power strips (PDU), cable trays, guide rails, blanking panels and plates for the floor/roof plate. For monitoring and access control, ZPAS integrates the AKCP monitoring system ex works on request — from temperature and door sensors to the access control handle.

What is the load capacity?
Static up to 1,000 kg (depth 600/800 mm; depth 1000 mm at 24 U) or up to 1,500 kg (depth 1000/1200 mm, except 24 U) — on levelling feet, plinth or floor. Mobile on castors: 150 kg (type 150) / 500 kg (type 300).
Network cabinet or server rack — what is the SZB IT?
